This document provides late-breaking and other information that
supplements the NEC SuperScript 1400 User's Guide.  It contains the

1. Installation Instructions 

Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows 2000

This installer copies the NEC SuperScript 1400 printer driver,
the online User's Guide, and this Readme file into the proper location
for your version of Windows.

If you find you need to re-install the driver for any reason, it 
is recommended that you first un-install the existing SuperScript
1400 printer driver, and then proceed with the re-installation.


2. Known Anomalies and Incompatibilities

If paper is present in Tray 1 (Manual), printer will always pull from this
tray even when a print job is specifically sent from Tray 2 or Tray 3.
Only feed paper to Tray 1 when printing from Tray 1 or Tray 1 (Manual).

Do not feed paper to Tray 1 while printing a job from Tray 2 or Tray 3.

Uninstalling USB Driver Issue:

When uninstalling the printer driver and the USB driver, some files are
still present even after rebooting. These files are located in the Windows
System folder and should be manually deleted:

NEC14USM.DLL
NEC14USO.DLL
NEC14USB.DLL
