    6. Known Limitations.

WebTelligent only supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later (and Netscape Navigator 3.03, 4.0 or later). However, known problems with Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02, are included in the list below.

1.) Login Screen Username/Password text disappears (Netscape 3.03/4.04, IE3.02)

If the browser is resized while the login screen is displayed, the "username" and "password" labels disappear. Scrolling the login screen with the scrollbar forces the text to reappear. This problem was resolved in Internet Explorer 4.0

2.) Wrong machine information appears when using Internet Explorer 3.02
Due to a problem with Internet Explorer 3.02, only the first machine's information is displayed. Exiting and restarting Internet Explorer forces the browser to display the correct page. This problem does not exist in either Internet Explorer 4.0, or Netscape Navigator 3.02 or later, or Netscape Communicator 4.0.

3.) Scrolling applets in Internet Explorer 3.02
Scrolling applets in Internet Explorer 3.02 sometimes causes the applet to not repaint properly. Resizing the browser forces the screen to be repainted.

4.) Internet Explorer 3.02 causing invalid page fault
Internet Explorer may periodically crash after logging into WebTelligent. This problem can be fixed by disabling the just-in-time (JIT) compiler. To disable the JIT compiler. Select the 'View' then 'Options' menu item. This will display the options dialog box. Select the 'Advanced' tab and make sure the 'Enable Java JIT Compiler' is not checked.

5.) Login fails if the browser is resized before all applets appear on the WebTelligent screen (Netscape 3.03/4.04). To avoid this problem, wait
for the discovery icon (globe) to appear on the WebTelligent screen before resizing the browser.
