//  1.  SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

1. The system requires MS Windows NT 4.0 TERMINAL SERVER EDITION or
   Windows 2000, WINSOCK ver 1.1 or later network interface library.

2. Smart Manager Utility needs 4 MB harddisk space.

//  2.  INSTALLATION
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

1.  Uninstall previous Acer SmartRemote Administrator 1.0 or previous
    version of SmartManager 2.0 if it exists.

2.  Check the System Requirements.  Windows NT Terminal Server Edition must
    be fully installed and running on the system prior to running this software.

3.  Close any running applications.  

4.  Unzip all files into some directory.

5.  Run SETUP.EXE.

6.  Follow the setup screen instructions.

7.  Click OK to restart.

//  3.  RUNNING THE UTILITY

Anytime you receive a new version image, put the image on the local disk 
or CD-ROM and then run the Smart Manager utility to upgrade
WBT's image.

Server Site:

1.  Click on Start

2.  Select Programs

3.  Select Acer Smart Manager 2.0

4.  Select Smart Manager

5.  Now Smart Manager utility is running, click on the 
    "LOAD IMAGE" icon on the toolbar or menu item Image\Load image.

6.  Select a new version image, just like opening an existing file. 
    Smart Manager utility will verify the image, it will take a few 
    minutes. After verifying, the image name and version number are
    showed on the status bar. Loading image is now completely
    finished.

After the new version image is loaded, administrator needs not to do anything.
When WBTs connect to Smart Remote server, the image will be transferred to WBT
and flash terminal's firmware automatically.


Client Site (WBT Site):

1.	Press F2 in the Terminal Connection Manager to run the Terminal Properties 
	Setting Program.

2.	Click on the Network Tab.

3.	Check the ENABLE REMOTE UPGRADE FUNCTION check box.

4.	Specify the network address of the remtoe upgrade server.

5.	Reboot computer

1.  Click on Start

2.  Select Programs

3.  Select Acer Smart Manager 2.0

4.  Select Uninstall Smart Manager. All the files about smart manager 2.0
    will be removed.
