SUBJECT:	FRUSDR version 1.53.1A Release Notes
Package Filename: G520_FRUSDR1531.zip

Purpose: This package is to update your FRU, SDR and mBMC confirmations.

		       SYSTEM SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS/REVISIONS
=============================================================================
- Altos G520 mBMC package: (BMC240.zip)
  mBMC firmware v2.40
  
- System BIOS P03 or later
 
=============================================================================
                         INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
=============================================================================
Please follow below step A and B to upgrade your system firmware.  
- It is required to run step A if your system is loaded with FRUSDR 1.41 or earlier.
- It is required to run "FRUSDR" package after mBMC firmware is being upgraded.
- It is required to run "FRUSDR" package when number of CPU is changed.

A. update mBMC firmware:
1. unplug network cable
2. unplug AC, wait for all LED off
3. plug in AC
4. turn on system and boot to DOS environment
5. run "mbmcfw.bat"
6. follow the instruction on screen to complete the mBMC firmware update
7. Apply AC and power on the server
8. Install the FRU/SDR package version 1.51 or later.

B. update FRUSDR package:

1. unplug network cable
2. turn on system to DOS environment
3. run "G520upd.bat"
4. follow the instruction on screen to complete the FRUSDR installation
5. when you do step B right after step A you will see a message as 
"The FRU header area is different from the FRU file you are trying to program.
Note: Only the FRU file data is programmed.
You will need to re-run the package in order to modify any of the FRU field information.
Would you like to program the file data over the existing FRU data? [Y/N],"
this is normal.  Please answer Y.

C. set mBMC MAC address
1. for example MAC address is "aa bb cc dd ee ff"
2. issue "ipmitool 84 30 01 01 05 aa bb cc dd ee ff" to set MAC address in mBMC

FRUSDR 153.1:
- When using HIPRO HP-R650FF3 power supply REV H03, thermal trip events will be 
  generated sometimes because of PWRGD signal drops slower.  REV H04 is ok.

1. Multiple Lan Leash Lost events will be logged when system reset/on.
2. Gratuitous ARP is disabeld by default.

4. MAC address in BMC is cleared after flashing mBMC firmware.


FRUSDR 084:
1. Multiple Lan Leash Lost events will be logged when system reset/on.
2. Gratuitous ARP is disabeld by default.
3. Need to use "set password" command through in-band to setup initial password.
   Default password after FW update is "FF"x16.
4. MAC address in BMC is cleared after flashing mBMC firmware.
5. "System Temp" sensor (0x2A) can not report correct threshold flags for 
   "Get Sensor Reading" command.
   (this SDR uses SBT, this is a known issue in mBMC FW 2.31)

FRUSDR 153.1:
1. SDR file name does not meet the requirements stated in BKM. 
       PVCS info missing.
2. Incorrect values in SDR header area.
3. Discrepancies in various fields in SDR.
4. System Status LED does not turn Amber when side cover removed


FRUSDR 151.1:
1. CPU Thermal Trip Report in SEL After System Shutdown-Amber Light On FP
2. Therm Trip being asserted after power down

FRUSDR 147.1:
1. Disable status LED action for chassis intrusion event

FRUSDR 141:
1. System temperature "Upper critical" and "Upper non-critical" flag not reported 
   in return value of "Get Sensor Reading" command. (fixed by mBMC firmware 2.40)

FRUSDR 088:
1. Enable internal SDR in mBMC to fix internal SDR disabled by default after
     firmware update.

FRUSDR 087:
1. Fix front panel Status LED display to match definition.
  (green on mapping to off)

FRUSDR 084:
1. Reset bit7 of Sensor Capability Byte in SDR of "CPU Config Error",
     "Proc IERR", and "PROC ThermalTrip" SDRs to fix "N/A" status in ASM6 issue.
2. Set "Upper non-critical threshold is readbale" mask in "Discrete Reading
     Mask" byte of fan SDRs to fix disappeared UNC threshold in ASM6 issue.
3. Correct fan speed control solution for Dual Processor/Single Processor.
4. Correct Chassis Intrusion sensor reading for inverted intrusion switch.

FRUSDR 081:
1. Remove menu to select update option.
2. Remove user quesion: chassis serial number, chassis product number, 
     product serial number, product product number, asset tag.
3. Remove '.....' in serial number/ part number itmes of default FRU file
4. Remove ID button SDR.
5. Reset bit7 of Sensor Capability Byte in SDR of "System Temp" and 
     "CPU Temp" sensor to ignore sensor presence.  This is to make fan sensor
     readable in ASM6.

FRUSDR 080:
