   Windows NT 3.5 or 3.51

   Introduction:
   -------------
   This document describes the procedure to install  Windows NT 3.5 or 3.51
   driver for AcerLAN ALN-201 PCI Ethernet adapter.

   Location of Driver:     \NT35X\ALN201.SYS

   Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Windows NT 3.5 or 3.51:
   -----------------------------------------------------
   When you are in Windows NT :
   1. In the Main group of NT, select the "Control Panel" icon.

   2. In the Control Panel window, choose the "Network" icon.

   3. In the Network Settings dialog box, choose the "Add Adapter" button.
      The Add Network Adapter dialog box appears.

   4. In the list of network cards, select "<other> Requires disk from
       manufacturer", and then press <Enter> button.

   5. Insert the AcerLAN driver disk in drive A, enter drive and pathname
      A:\NT35X  which is the path  where  the  driver  ALN201.SYS  and
      setup file OEMSETUP.INF are located, and then choose the OK button.

   6. There will prompt a ALN-201 Duplex mode windows that allows you to
      set the duplex mode of the adapter.
      If you connect the adapter to the Ethernet Switch that supports
      Full-Duplex feature,you can change the property of ALN-201 to be
      Full-Duplex mode.

   7. NT will then perform the binding process.  If any additional network
      software options were installed,  you may be  prompted for  specific
      information for these packages.

   8. Restarting your system you will acquire network service.


   NOTES:
   ------
      The AcerLAN ALN-201 doesn't support Auto-Negotiation,so if the adapter
      is intended to connected to Ethernet Switch with Full-Duplex mode,the
      Switch should be fixed to be Full-Duplex mode.


