Release notes:

- The Operating System drivers included in the Software kit v4.04 support
Mylex controllers with 4.x firmware or later.

- If you are currently using an existing version of GAM Server,
Mylex recommends that you do not uninstall this version prior to
upgrading to the version included on this SWKIT CD. With the old
version still installed and running, just insert the SWKIT CD and
run the new setup.exe application by choosing the 'Install Global
Array Manager' option from the Main Menu of the Autorun
application. Follow the procedures documented in the SWKIT
Installation Guide and User Manual to install the GAM Server
  software.

The reason for this is as follows:
If an old GAM Server (2.21-xx) is uninstalled and no reboot
is performed, installing GAM server from the CD-ROM will
result in the GAM Driver not loading on the next reboot.
This will not occur if the user installs the new server over
the top of the old one while it is still running.

If the existing GAM Server has been uninstalled, be sure to
reboot the system before installing the new version from this
  SWKIT CD-ROM.

- If the GAM Server & Workstation Array Manager are installed on
the same system and one of them is uninstalled, the other will
no longer work because the GAM Driver will get uninstalled.

- The Mylex Disk Array Controller Driver (dac960nt.sys) and
Accelerated Disk Driver (macdisk.sys) are not installed or
configured via the Global Array Manager setup utility. This
procedure is the same as previous SWKIT's and must be done
  manually via an installation diskette.

- The Global Array Manager Server is not supported on Windows 9x.
