Controllers Supported:
==============
MegaRAID SCSI 320-0 (520)

Firmware Changes:
============
1. If Bus mastering is disabled, it should not be enabled by our firmware.
2. Increased the timeout limit to 3+ hours for Format Unit command.
3. Drives not negotiating back to original maximum transfer rate after chip reset. This has been fixed.
4. On the power on POST, the firmware negotiates U160 speed for U320 drives in Zappa1. This has been fixed.
5. There was a bug in the implementation of timeout to physical drive flushing. This has been fixed.
6. Write back (reads & writes) caching improvements also done for RAID 0 and 1.
7.  I/O performance improvements.
8. Enhanced the functionality of Check Consistency.
9. FW and PC+ provide a command for user to define the SMART/no SMART mode.
10. If no BBU detected during power up, write policy is kept as user defined.
    If BBU is broken or low voltage after the system is up, then the write policy will be changed to Write-Thru from Write-Back.
    After BBU is recharged the write policy will be reset to the original mode.
11. When or after Hot Spare rebuild, the RED LED should remain on to indicate the failed drive and all other good
    drives have the GREEN LEDs. When this failed drive is replaced, the new drive will become Hot Spare automatically with GREEN LED.
12. Do not fail the physical drive due to uncorrectable medium error, especially in the Degraded logical drive environment
13. Corrected a hang during scanning in utilities when 320 drives are used with 160M backplane.
14. Incorrect sense log is displayed for the PRED_FAILED drive during power on reset. This has been fixed.
15. TUR check condition sense data (02/04/01) were logged multiple times when a drive is inserted and spinning up. This has been fixed.
16. Drives not negotiating back to original maximum transfer rate after chip reset. This has been fixed.
17. Corrected a hang seen when scanning channels while using internal backplanes on some systems.

BIOS Changes:
============
1. In case of unresolved Mismatch of configuration user will be allowed only to enter CTRL M after pressing any key,
    (no further booting is allowed) irrespective of whether force boot option is set or not.
2.  For normal configuration mismatch:
    User can set force boot option and BIOS will write the disk configuration to NVRAM and continue to boot.
    If force boot option is not set the BIOS will await for USER input.
    (This remains the same as in previous releases)
    Only in the case of unresolved configuration mismatch:
    Irrespective whether of force boot option is set or not - USER is allowed to enter CTRL-M only.
    (So no further booting takes place.)
3. Support for Boot from any logical drives.
4. Product string changed to LSI from Previous AMI (shown by MB Boot menu.).
5. Fix the issue of force boot option not working properly.

Ctrl-M Changes:
==========
1. Modified factory default settings on 520/518 adapters.
2. Enhanced the code for new controllers.
3. Support added for Logical Boot Drive option.

WebBIOS Changes:
============
1. In the logical drive definition screen, when Accept button is pressed, configuration was not updated and sometimes resulted in crash.
    This was due to "array number" coming as junk. This has been fixed.
2. SCSI level was shown for processor. This has been fixed.
3. When logical drives are configured in excess of 1TB, the firmware would crash in WebBIOS. This has been fixed.
4. In a non-cluster configuration, in the Logical drive definition screen (4/5), if the Select size text box does not contain a
    value and the accept button is pressed; sometimes a random value is taken as configured size. This has been fixed.
5. Devices are scanned after Rebuild has been aborted.
6. Signed integer overflow in "addlogicalDrive" routine causing f/w crash. This has been fixed.
7. RAID3 option removed from WebBIOS for LSI.
8. Physical drive property will not show SCSI level in some systems. This has been fixed.
9. While consistency check is running on RAID 5, using Web Bios, type a single value in boot logical drive option,
    it is displayed twice. This has been fixed.
10. Cache Flush Interval was inconsistent between Ctrl-M and Ctrl-H. This has been fixed.
11. Added coercion algorithm option to WebBIOS for LSI.
12. The first scanning screen after boot-up was not showing the vendor properly. This has been fixed.
13. If arrays are spanned, WebBIOS automatically configured logical drives with full available size. This has been fixed.
14. Support added to allow any available logical drive to be the Boot drive.
15. Bus number and Device number were not displayed properly on the Title bar. This has been fixed.
16. Progress bars for more than 6 Rebuilds not popping up. This has been fixed.
17. Reconstruction Progress bar would disappear if Physical drive property were accessed through Physical Drive main page. This has been fixed.
18. Default radio button selection set for properties in Physical Drive main screen.
19. If an array has a mix of OFFLINE and DEGRADED logical drives, the physical drive present in that array will not rebuild. This has been fixed.
20. U320 is now shown as an option in WebBIOS.

Known Limitations:
============
1. This controller has been tested in non-cluster configurations with EuroLogic U320 enclosures, JMR U320 and U160 enclosures,
    and Nstor U320 enclosures.
2. This controller has been tested with U320 drives from the following manufacturers: Seagate, Maxtor, Fujitsu,
    Western Digital, and IBM. Various U160 drives have been tested.
3. Non-Disk SCSI devices have not been tested with this release.
4. The audible alarm for the MegaRAID SCSI 320-0 and 320-1 controllers is only available if the optional battery backup
    board is attached to the controller. The MegaRAID utilities show the alarm options (Enable, Disable, Silence, etc.)
    whether the battery backup board is present or not.
